The problem:
HOW TO ADD CLIENT VALUE
Ashley Marston has established herself as a leading birth and family lifestyle photographer in the mid-Vancouver Island region. Her award-winning style is an ethereal and expressive blend of light and colour, capturing the mood, emotion and sentiment of the subject.
While many photoshoots these days are delivered electronically, Ashley also wanted to offer her clients a more tactile and spiritual way to share and appreciate their images. In 2013, Ashley approached me about large-format printing options for her clients and she was immediately impressed with the advantages of canvas.
The solution:
Stretched canvas prints have a luxurious feel and fine-art appearance without the expense of glass, mattes and frame moldings.
The look and feel of canvas embodies the spirit of expressive imagery.
Stretched canvas prints have an elegant intimacy, eshewing the complexity of paper prints.
Stretched canvas prints are lighter and less expensive than framed paper prints. Very large canvas prints are quite economical.
Canvas prints are easily and affordably shipped in mailing tubes.
Ashley’s photography is expressive and sometimes experimental. Some images are a collaboration where I help implement a final solution, such as arranging a group of images to be printed into a single canvas, retouching, etc.
The result:
The ability to offer high-quality, gallery-grade canvas prints has benefited Ashley’s business and provided an added value to her clients.
