The problem:
PRINT FULFILLMENT SERVICE
Marcus Paladino is a professional photographer in Tofino, BC. He does a range of commercial work, but he places a special emphasis on creating dynamic and emotional images of the surfing scene.
I have been making both canvas and paper prints for Marcus since 2014 as custom one-off orders.
However, in 2016, Marcus wanted to add the ability to sell prints of his images through his website. He needed a cost-effective way to have high-quality prints produced and shipped directly to his customers in a timely manner. So Marcus approached me to develop a print fulfillment solution.
The solution:
Marcus and I worked together to identify a set of sizes, costs and shipping options that he could list on his website. On the fulfillment end, Turning Point Arts has the materials, equipment and expertise to not only create superb prints, but to drop-ship them to customers around the world.
Turning Point Arts maintains a permanent archive of Marcus’ images.
Print orders are emailed to Turning Point Arts.
Print orders specify client shipping details, image names and sizes.
Prints are produced, inspected and packed for shipping.
Packages are weighed and rated.
Canada post shipping labels are printed.
Packages are shipped via Canada Post.
